Jane Ann Lund-Blaszkowski 75 of New Smyrna Beach passed away on January 27 2009 after a three-year battle with cancer. Jane Ann was born in Washington D.C. in 1933. In 1960 Jane Ann and her family relocated to Cocoa Beach and in 1965 settled in New Smyrna Beach. In her spare time she could be found tending to her Dogwoods in her yard or working in her garden. She was also very artistic and enjoyed painting and crafts. She was a former member of the New Smyrna Yacht Club and Elks Lodge #1557 where she produced numerous shows and organized many luaus. She was also a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Jane Ann will be remembered most as being a very giving loving person who loved to make others laugh. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Jane is survived by daughters Dorothy E. Wilkins of New Smyrna Beach Elizabeth (Roy) Virts of Brunswick MD; son Capt. Richard Jensen Wilkins Sr. of New Smyrna Beach; brothers Dr. John J. (Maggie) Lund of Wilson NC Richard H. (Linda) Lund of Charleston NC; sister Elizabeth Penna of Knoxville MD; grandchildren Dr. Maryam Motiwala Price of Macon GA Joseph Motiwala of Columbus GA and Richard Jensen Wilkins Jr. and Crystal Dawn Wilkins Mazzola of New Smyrna 16 nieces and nephews and her dog Sebastian. Jane was preceded in death by her parents Richard J. Lund and Dorothy Smith-Lund husband Leonard J. Blaszkowski son Charles W. Wilkins and granddaughter Heather Mae Wilkins.
