Jane B. Blissett, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015.
She was born in Dothan, Alabama to Haygood and Lois (Payne) Boyd.

She was a nurse early in life then spent her life caring for her family as a homemaker. Jane was a member of the Port Orange YMCA Water Aerobics for many years; she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles cooking, the beach, most of all and above all she loved being there and caring for her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 10-11 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 at Lohman Funeral Home; 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Georgia (Robert) Blissett, and Gwen (Alan) Kaye, her two sons, Steve Blissett and Ross (Jenn Lloyd) Blissett, her sister, Linda Arch, grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Scott, Tommy, Blake, Devon, and Tyler, and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in Jane's memory to Halifax Hospice and or the American Heart Assoc. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
