Jan (John) Ganus 89 of Port Orange passed away on Tuesday October 19th. Jan was
born on July 17 1921 to Antoni and Maria Ganus in Poland. Jan moved with his family to New York in 1964 where he worked for Rollson Inc. as a sheet metal worker until retirement. In 1986 he moved to Port Orange Florida. He enjoyed gardening bicycling and spending time with his family. Jan is preceded in death by his daughter Irena Ganus; grandson Nolan Ganus; and his beloved wife Jadwiga Ganus. Survivors include daughters Regina (Paul) De Bonis of Port Orange Florida Candy (Charles) Hoffmann of Huntington Station New York; son Anthony of Huntington Station New York; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday October 22nd at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave. The family will be receiving guests from 11am until 12pm.
