James "Jim" Wise, 51 of Palm Coast/Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2018 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born on February 19, 1967 in Haines City, Florida to James and Annie (Foster) Wise.

Jim was an Assistant Store Manager with Big Lots for several years. His position had him traveling from Ft. Lauderdale, to St. Augustine, to Flagler Beach and lastly calling Palm Coast/Ormond Beach his home. He enjoyed country music, singing, Volkswagens. He was a member of the Bay Area V Dubs Club, which is a Florida based Volkswagen enthusiast car club.

Jim is survived by son, Tyler Wise and his daughter, Emily Wise of Palm Coast, by his parents, James and Annie Wise of Davenport, Florida, by his brother, Brian Wise and his wife Nikki Wise of Lake Alfred, Florida as well as by two nieces, Kelsi and Kaylee Wise of Lake Alfred. Jim "Snoopy" will be truly missed by his lifetime partner, Thomas "Tommy" Coglitore of Palm Coast/Ormond Beach. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill & Bertha Foster as well as by his paternal grandparents, Carl & Ruby Wise.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 22 ^nd between the hours of 7-9 pm with a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:30 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.  Condolences for the family may be shared via this online guestbook.
