James J. Whelan 68 of Palm Coast passed away August 18 2008. The family will receive visitors Saturday Aug. 23 at 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service to follow at noon. He and his wife of 24 years Brenda moved here from the Philadelphia area eleven years ago. A veteran of the Army reserves James was a career police officer in Philadelphia Pa. He is survive by his wife Brenda son James of Pennsylvania stepsons Harry Richard Robinson of Palm Coast and Donald T. Robinson III of New York City and daughters Mariann (Robertr) Capehart of Romania and Maureen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Odyssey Healthcare Hospice 4861 Palm Coast Parkway N.W.
