Mr. James M. Trindle (Jim) born August 15 1911 in Philadelphia and retired to Ormond Beach over 35 years ago passed away to be with his loving wife on February 2 2009. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Blounts two granddaughters Corinne Wentworth and Amy Kotara a grandson James M. Wentworth his wife Wanda and their daughter Jamie L. Wentworth. His wife Helen of nearly 70 years preceded him in 2002. He is also preceded by his son-in-law Stanley Blounts.
A self-made man he held many jobs including welding in the Philadelphia shipyards during WWII before becoming a superintendent of Quaker Sugar. In their retirement years he and his wife took many trips both at home and abroad. Jim had many hobbies among them fishing golfing and reading. In his younger years and in his older ones too he was rarely without a cigar. His neighbors will miss the sight of him in the yard and in the garage smoking and we thank them for their love and support during this time.
He will be greatly missed by his family who were the greatest love of his life. A donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation in honor of his wife Helen is appreciated in lieu of flowers.
