James A. St. Pierre, 61, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born on November 24, 1964, in Warwick, Rhode Island, to the late Edward and Virginia St. Pierre.
James grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School. He went on to study Machining Technology at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. Throughout his life, James worked as a machinist, a machinery mechanic, and a facilities manager bringing skill, dedication, and pride to everything he did. He also shared his knowledge generously, serving as a mentor to his stepson, Gregory, and teaching him the trade.
James is survived by his loving spouse, Trish Griffin; his stepson, Gregory Friedrich, and Gregory’s wife, April; his sisters, Denise Willis and Margaret Jaked and her husband, Richard; and his brothers, Peter St. Pierre and his wife, Kim Doyle, John St. Pierre and his wife, Jamie, Paul St. Pierre and his wife, Terri, and Edward St. Pierre and his wife, Cynthia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews that he loved dearly.
James will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and generous heart. He loved his family deeply and had a special gift for making people laugh. He was always willing to lend a hand and help others whenever he could. A devoted animal lover, James rescued many cats and dogs over the years, giving them care, comfort, and a home.
He also had a love for adventure and motion, whether driving fast cars, riding motorcycles and ATVs, or spending time on boats. James lived with energy, warmth, and compassion, and his presence brought joy to those around him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who have had the privilege of knowing him.
