Celebration of Life Services for James J. Simpson age 78 who passed away August 19th in Daytona Beach FL will be held Tuesday August 24th at 10:00 am at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home Ormond Beach FL. His family will receive friends from 6:00pm ? 8:00pm on Monday August 23rd. James was born in Big Rock TN to James and Susie Simpson and was pre-ceded in death by seven of his siblings. He was a US Army World War II Veteran during the European Campaign. He and his wife Mourlyn moved to this area 23 years ago from Evansville IN. He was a member of the Holly Hill Church of Christ. James was the owner and operator of Simpson Wholesale Novelties. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Mourlyn his sons Steven A. Simpson of Livingston MT and Kenneth R. Simpson of Poseyville IN his brothers Homer Lee Simpson of Clarksville TN and Barney O. Simpson of Bumpus Mills TN a sister Mary Nell Rawlins of Evansville IN his grandchildren Courtney Creekmur Nathan Simpson Frank Shane Simpson Joshua Simpson and one great grandson Dominick Simpson.
