January 17, 1946 – August 21, 2024
Jim was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on January 17, 1946 to James and Mary (Kemp) Shaulis. He is survived by his best friend, partner, wife, and the love of his life, Maria Shaulis. Jim passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his closest friends and family who were praying over him.
Jim is survived by his sister Sandra(Thomas) Holmes. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Fantone.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from November 1965 to November 1968. While serving one of those years in Viet Nam, he was a helicopter Door Gunner and Aircraft Armament Repairman, and earned an Air Medal, with fourth Oak Leaf Cluster. Jim graduated, with honors, from Robert Morris College in 1979, with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Business Administration.
Jim's favorite times on this earth were when he and Maria would take long walks on the beach, and share a cold adult beverage on their balcony overlooking the ocean.
