James was born in St. Louis Missouri. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He and his wife moved to this area in 1991 from Connecticut. He was the President of Bauhas Inc. James was an avid woodworker. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Marilyn his son Mark Schroeder of North Canton CT his daughter Diane Vaccari of Ormond Beach FL his sister Rosemary Pickens of Jacksonville FL and his dear niece Susan Seymour of Valatie NY and his grandchildren Jessica and Jamie Schroeder and Timothy Vaccari.
