James I. Ross, 70, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Halifax Hospice Health Care Center, in Port Orange, FL.

Jim was born in Warren, Ohio April 24, 1945, the son of Chauncey and Lucille (Williman) Ross. Jim graduated from Levittsburg High School and Ohio University. He was in Trust department banking from 1969 with Second National Bank in Warren to Vice President at Pennbank in Bradford, PA and Senior Vice President At Bank One in Warren, Ohio until 1992. In 1993, he moved to Ocean City, MD where he became owner-operator of two motels until 2003 and retired to Port Orange, FL in 2004.

Jim is survived by his wife, Carlene, his children Robyn (David) Wahnschaffe, J. Bradley Ross, his grandchildren, Benjamin & Sinclair, all of Baton Rouge, LA, his sisters, Linda (Clarence) Hedges of Murrells Inlet, SC and Dianne (Walter) Hilderbrand of Boiling Springs, SC, Tamara Ross, the mother of his children, of Baton Rouge, LA, 2 nephews and 4 nieces.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange, with a gathering of family and friends from 11:30 AM till the time of the service. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
