James A. Rigdon 1936-2019

The Celebration of Life for James will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd. with Visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. and the Service to be held at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Cord Bear of Tomoka Christian Church officiating. James went home to our Lord Jesus on the morning of January 13, 2019. Surviving him is Ann, his wife of 32 years, and children: Debra Buford, Janet Russell, Kevin Rigdon (Alicia), Karen Nelson (Kevin), Debbie Pearlman (Adam). His Grandchildren are: David, Nikki, Matt, Joe, Koty, Kailyn, April, Adam, Stephanie and Antonio; plus three Great-Grandsons. James was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Wilmer and Edna (Yazell) Rigdon. His brother Bob and sister Shirley, deceased. Surviving them is his brother Mike (Beverly). James worked over 20 years with Publix Grocery in Ormond-By-The-Sea as a bagger and cashier. He loved travelling, cruises, and bowling. But, most importantly he loved being a part of New Start Ministry, started by Steve Miller. James was a member of Tomoka Christian Church. He will be greatly missed.
