James "Ira" Ray Hayes, of Palm Coast, Florida, died on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the age of 72. Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, LaDonne Hayes, daughter Kimberly Belverud and her husband Shawn, and grandchildren Anderson and Norah. He is also survived by his siblings, Jan Hayes and Myrna Dover. Mr. Hayes served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years and retired as a senior chief. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast at 11am. Family welcomes friends one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
