James D. Raley 73 of Ormond Beach died Friday February 4 2005 at his residence. Born in Bonifay FL Mr. Raley was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for 57 years. He pastured his first church when he was 17 years old. He pastored churches throughout the state of Florida and the Bahamas. As a pastor husband father and grandfather Mr. Raley left an incredible legacy of love. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Dorothy; his children Roger Holmes Betty of Nashville TN Pastor Jim Raley Dawn of Ormond Beach Pastor Donald and Donna Shoots of Panama City 3 brothers Charles Raley of Jacksonville Ernest Raley of Marianna and Curry Raley of Wauchula; and 6 grandchildren Kyle Shoots Jonathan Shoots Armendy Leigh Shoots Courtney Raley Channing Hope Raley and Tegan Holmes. Funeral Services in Bonifay are on Wednesday February 9th at 2 pm at Bonifay First Assembly of God 1009 South Waukesha Street. Family will receive friends from 1-2 pm preceding the service. Burial will follow at Bonifay City Cemetery.
