James N. Rader 66 passed away at his home in Deltona on July 8 2009. Services will be private. Jim was born in Anna Illinois on January 27 1943. He proudly served his Country as a US Marine from 1967 thru 1973 completing three tours of duty in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. Jim received numerous combat medals and ribbons as well as several purple hearts. After returning home he joined the Orange County Fire Rescue Division as a firefighter and retired after 27 years as an Engineer Paramedic. After retiring Jim would most likely be found relaxing at home watching an old Western movie with a cat curled up in his lap. He loved movies fast cars and weapons of all sorts. Although he had a tough exterior the ones who knew him best will remember him most as one of the kindest most giving and considerate men one could know. He was a man of honor strength and integrity and he will be truly missed by all who knew him.
