Mr. Pappas was born November 16 1926 in Lynn Massachusetts. He moved to this area in 1957 from Marblehead Massachusetts and was the owner of the James Thomas Company from 1974 until 2002.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Karen and a son Thomas.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Cally Pappas of Ormond Beach; two daughters Janice Pappas of Hamilton Massachusetts and Debbie Pappas of Ormond Beach; a sister Evangaline Stamatopolous of Peabody Massachusetts and many nieces nephews and friends.
