James Morrissey age 46 passed away on Sunday September 12 2004 at the Halifax Medical Center.
Mr. Morrissey was born in Westchester County NY on October 9th 1957 to Charles and Monica Morrissey. He moved to this area in 1984 from New York.
Mr. Morrissey worked as a Professional Chef but really enjoyed working on Cars Especially VW s Golf and Fishing. He was also a longtime member of the Catholic Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary of Port Orange; mother Monica of New York; children Christopher Vanessa and Corinne; siblings David J. Morrissey Karen & Martin Topp and Christine & Peter Duncan; 3 grandchildren Trey Lexi and Ashton and aunt Sister Margaret Morrissey R.S.H.M. of New York.
Funeral Mass for James will be held on Thursday September the 16th at 10:00 am in the Catholic Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange with Father Paul Kamide officiating. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend a visitation the previous evening Wednesday the 15th from 5 to 7pm at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home.
