James Edward "Eddie" Lilly, age 68, passed away on December 15, 2025. Born on December 4, 1957, Eddie lived a life defined by hard work, love for family, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Ann Quaid; his father, Alfred Edward Lilly; his brother, Thomas Allen Cloer; and his daughter, Brandi Lee Ellis.

Eddie is survived by his brothers, Charles Lewis Cloer Jr. and Timothy Lane Cloer; his sister, Thelma Kay Lee; and his two daughters, Katrina Dawn Lilly and Jamie Desiree Lilly (Nitra Brown). He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy in his life.

A dedicated roofer for over 50 years, Eddie was known for his strong work ethic and determination. When he wasn't working, he could often be found enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, or canoeing—activities that brought him peace and happiness. He loved listening to Journey and was especially devoted to his faithful dog, Shadow, who was his constant companion.

James Edward Lilly will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, love of nature, and devotion to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
