Funeral services for James Thomas Jenkins 78 of Daytona Beach Shores who passed away on December 23 2006 will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday December 30 2006 at Stauffers Funeral Home in Mount Airy Maryland. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm on Friday December 29 2006. James was born on July 6 1928 to the late James and Rena Jenkins in Mt. Savage Maryland. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was later employed by Travenol where he worked until retiring. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years Mary; sister Phyllis J. Mowery of Daytona Beach Shores; brother Leonard R. Jenkins of Mt. Savage MD; sister-in-law and brother- in-law Barbara and Charles Johnson of Woodbine MD; brother-in-law Gerald Johnson of Hyattsville MD; five Godchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
