James Jalace passed after a brief illness on July 13 2009. He was born on November 12 1947 in Anderson IN. son of the late Joseph and Pearl Jalace. He was employed by General Motors in Anderson IN and retired to Ormond Beach FL. in 2004. He was employed part time by Manheim in Daytona Beach. Jimmy enjoyed NASCAR Miller Lite and walking the beach in Daytona. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 3800 Daytona Moose Lodge 1263 and American Legion Post 120. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Cheryl Jalace Nee Jester; daughter Melissa Jalace-Vasold and husband Donnie of Baltimore MD; brother Joseph Jalace of Anderson IN; step-daughters: Christina Jester of Newport TN Stacy Quate & husband Jason of Muncie IN and Ashley Gordon & husband Nathan of Jacksonville NC and 7 step-grandchildren; his loving dogs Pixie and Dixie and many extended family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held at Robert Loose Funeral Home South Chapel on 53rd Street in Anderson IN on Saturday August 15th 2009 from 2:30-4:30 pm.
