James T. "Jake" Guinn, age 84, of Yorktown, Indiana, passed away on February 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elva, his father Floyd, his brother Wayne, and his grandson, Mark.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, his son Greg, and his son's wife, Diana, his daughter, Holly Gommel, his brother, Dean, and his brother's wife, Charlene, his sister, Juanita Brown, his grandchild, Jasmine Orewiler and her husband Ben, and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Maddux Orewiler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Elks Club, he was an avid fisherman, poker player and a proud Navy Veteran. A Gathering of Friends will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
