James "Jim" Brian Hyland, 66 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on April 18, 2014 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast. Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Friday, April 25th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Inurnment with military honors will be held on May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, Ct. Jim was born in Stamford, Connecticut, March 29, 1948. He was raised in Stamford, Ct. and graduated from Stamford High School. He went on to enlist in the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era, then worked as a carpenter for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James David and Mary Theresa (Tuite) Hyland, as well as several aunts and uncles. Jim is survived by his companion of 28 years, Charlene Carbino, Palm Coast; his sister, Lynn Michaels and her three sons, Wolcott, Ct., special friends, Charles "Pitt" Pittsinger, Stamford, Ct. as well as Susan Cederborg, Endicott, NY, as well as numerous cousins; John and Peter Kluchnick, and Betty Walsh, Michael, Diane, and Patricia Robie, David Ehert, Sheila Hyland, Gary, Karen, Jerry, and Dennis Wheeler, Jeffry, Gary, and David DuBois, Peter, Sean and Nancy Tuite, Betty Wood, Brian and James Whalen, Danny, Ricky, Billy, and Tommy Elles, Peter and Jerry Tuite and Marie Muller.
