Our father James E. Fry Sr. passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday May 27 2007 in Port Orange FL. Jim was born in Derry PA on October 21 1924 to Julia Blanseh and Eugene B. Fry. He was the devoted husband of Virginia Fry of Port Orange FL and a previous resident of Chambersburg PA until retiring to Daytona Beach in 1987. He is preceded in death by his parents step-mother Marie Harold Fry brother; William L. Fry and his wife Mary Louise (Caylor) Fry. Mr. Fry is survived by his children: daughters; Cheryl L. Munchinski of Latrobe PA Evelyn L. Shoop (Glenn) of Marion PA Kathrine N. Frain (Landis) of Waynesboro PA Julia E. Carr (Dennis) of Marion PA and Shirley P. Green of Port Orange FL son; James E. Fry Jr. (Michele). Also left to cherish his memory are 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jim was a WWII veteran as a U. S. Navy Armed Guard. Before his retirement to FL he was employed 29 years as a machinist for Mack Truck Hagerstown MD. Mr. Fry was a life member of the following organizations: American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Marion Volunteer Fire Department; Amvets; Eagles; B. P. O. Elks; Loyal Order of the Moose; George Washington Lodge # 143 F. & A. M. Chambersburg PA; Ancient Order of Camel Herders Bahia Shrine Stable # 166 Orlando FL.
