James J. Flaherty, beloved husband, step father, grandfather and brother, passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents, James J. and Betty Flaherty, and his sister, Eileen Flaherty.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Flaherty; his stepson, AJ Turner II "his boy"; grandkids Albert Turner III "Bubba" & Weston Turner; Sister-in-Law Theresa, nephew Ryan and niece Aileen; and Jim was a Big Brother to Mike and Bob Flaherty.

Jim was a proud U.S. Navy Corpsman, having served during the Gulf War – Desert Storm. He later pursued a Master's in Business at Rollins College, Florida, which complemented his impressive career in the construction industry. Over the span of 38 years, James worked as a Construction Manager at Ferran Services, where he made significant contributions to the company's success.

A funeral service to honor Jim's life will be held on April 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona, Florida. Burial will immediately follow the service.

Jim will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his work.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
