JameswasemployedbytheUnitedStatesPostalServicefor10yearsandin1961
joinedtheNewYorkCityTransitPoliceDepartmentfromwhereheretiredafter20
yearsofservice.
In1981JosephineandJamesrelocatedtoPortOrangeFlorida.Hewasa
foundingmemberofOurLadyofHopeCatholicChurchinPortOrangeandwasa
memberoftheUshersandeventuallybecameheadusher,apositionheheldfor
30years.
JimalsowasamemberoftheKnightsofColumbusandrosetotherankof4th degreegrandknightandwasrecentlybestowedhonorarylifetimemembership. HeissurvivedbyhiswifeJosephine:asonRobert(Sherrie)andadaughter
ThereseÍonebrother,JohnandtwosistersFrancesandRoseÍthree
grandchildrenNicole,Jaclyn,Robertandseveralnieces,nephews,andgrand
niecesandnephews.
