James "Jim" Darrin 78 passed away June 8 2012. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held on Tuesday 3:00pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 724 Big Tree Rd South Daytona 32119. A Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Jim was born in Walton N.Y. July 17 1933. He was a X-ray Technician in Cobleskill N.Y. for 25 years and then 25 more years in Nyack N.Y. During that time Jim met the love of his life Cora and married her 25 years ago. They both moved to Florida in 2003 were they were very active at there church Holy Cross Lutheran. Jim is Survived by his loving wife Cora one son James and his wife Melissa Three grandchildren: Kevin Crystal and Alexis One great grandchild Jayden Rodrigues. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Halifax Hospice of V/F or Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
