The Crandall Family announces the passing of James (Jim) Ward Crandall (Mr. Enthusiasm) 77 of Ormond Beach Florida. Mr. Crandall twice a cancer survivor over the past ten tears died of natural causes in his home on Tuesday April 21 2009. The Crandall Family will mourn the loss of their patriarch however they want to recognize the fact that Jim had a real and loving relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In knowing this we recognize that his passing is but a momentary separation between those here on Earth and an eternal reunion in heaven with all of his family and friends:

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Pat Crandall his sons James W. Crandall Jr. Paul Crandall and his daughter Teresa Crandall Hawkey. Jim also had eight grandchildren seven of them still alive and well. Jim spent his working years in the financial services industry as an insurance agent for Paul Revere Life Insurance for nearly 25 years both here and in Jacksonville Florida. In his fist career he enjoyed a successful 20 years in the United States Navy as a chief hospital corpsman serving in many areas including with the USMC in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Jim was currently an active member of Harbor Baptist Church in Ormond Beach and had spent many years as a loving member of Daytona Beach First Baptist Church. Jim's funeral ceremony celebrating his life will be held at Harbor Baptist Church 428 Tomoka Ave Ormond Beach 32174 at 4 pm Saturday 4/25/09. (904) 677-3116. All friends and friends of the family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mission Ministry of Harbor Baptist Church.
