James O. Comella age 86 of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully on Sunday May 3 2009. A Funeral service in his honor will be held Tuesday May 5 2009; 2:00 PM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home a visitation will precede the service at 1:00.
James was born 9/28/1922 at age 30 he suffered the loss of his sight instead of slowing him down this only furthered his resolve to live each day to the fullest as a successful business man. He Resided in Washington PA where he was the owner of Mississippi East Inc. a trucking business until 1972 and semi retired. When James came to Florida he dedicated his talents to the real-estate business for several years. He finally fully retired in 1995 and came to resided in Dayton Bch Fl. After his retirement he was a proud member of the Board of Directors for the Center for the Visually Impaired became involved with computers for the blind and did volunteer work for the Municipal public library.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 26 years; Roseanna Herrmann Comella Daytona Fl. 3 Daughters: Sharon Barbee (widow) Lecanto Fl. - Barbara Pierson (George) Floral City Fl.

His son James O. Comella II and his granddaughter Jayme Lynn Comella preceded him in death.
