A Funeral Mass for James "Jim" Joseph Chmielarski DMD 64 who passed away on August 3 2012 will be held Friday August 10 2012 at 11:00am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Bill Zamborsky officiating. His family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond on Thursday August 9 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00pm with a remembrance service at 6:00pm.

Jim was born on January 15 1948 in Niagara Falls NY. He served as a Dental Technician while in the Navy then graduated from Broward Community College FL Atlantic University and subsequently earned his degree in Dentistry at the University of Florida. Jim was fortunate to find a profession that he loved and a business partner who was one in a million David Brown. He and David met in dental school and were partners at Brown & Chmielarski for over 33 years. Along with his professional work that he so enjoyed Jim loved golf and football and was an avid Gator fan.

Jim is survived by his wife of 20 years Linda; by his son by marriage Dustin Gilman and grandchildren Brielyn and Deaven and was called Dad by Sir Lloyd Rawls. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Stella and his two brothers: Joseph (Joe) and Paul. He is also survived by his 8 nieces and nephews: Mark Scott Mike Kristin Heidi Nick Sandy and Christy.

His family requests memorial donations be made in Jim's memory to Warner Christian Academy 1730 So. Ridgewood Av. So. Daytona FL 32119. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
