Today we lost an amazing man, perfect father, Korean War veteran(awarded three medals), retired police captain and best damn bbq-er every Sunday growing up.  Rest In Peace Captain James Mitchell Carter.  My dad, my hero.

James Carter is Survived by wife, Patricia Ann Carter of 69 years, sons: Frank (Lori) Carter, Jim (Brenda) Carter and Shane (Jennifer). Grandsons: Matthew Carter, Lane Carter, Jonathan Carter and Matthew Reilly and Great Granddaughter Wynter Villalobos.
