In loving memory of our Husband Father Grandfather and Great Grandfather who passed away the 1st day of June 2007.

Jim was born on October 8th 1935 to Garland and Nell Caldwell of Chattanooga TN. In his youth Jim was an accomplished tennis player once capturing the City of Chattanooga Championship. He was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 1953. During his service in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 Jim was part of the 3d Armored Division stationed at Ayers Kaserne in Kirchgoens Germany. After leaving the Army he moved to Charleston SC where he went to work for Southern Railways riding horseback as a railroad detective.

Jim and his family moved to Central Florida in 1971 living most recently in Daytona Beach Shores. He owned and operated an Allstate Insurance Agency for 27 years prior to retiring in 2000. During his retirement Jim enjoyed cheering for Florida Gators football and basketball kite flying gambling and relaxing on the beach with friends and family.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Judy sister Rita daughter Pam two sons Bob and Jimmy grandchildren Amber Dustin Josh Amanda and Ashlyn and great grandchild Brandon. He was predeceased by his parents.
