Obituary

With heavy hearts and extreme profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Jade N. Lezon, who was taken from us too soon on May 28, 2025, at the tender age of 28. Born on Christmas Day, 1996 in Daytona Beach, Florida, Jade came into this world with curiosity and wonder, just as she lived her life. Jade was known for her forgiving heart, infectious smile, her quirkiness, love of drawing and music, video games, hiking, makeup, and fashion. She loved to travel, and over the years found joy in Yosemite National Park, hiking and picking wildflowers, spending time with loved ones in the mountains of West Virginia, walking on the beaches of Hawaii, and teaching herself snowboarding on the slopes in Colorado. Her journey on this Earth was one marked by love, friendship, compassion for others, and an unwavering strength and courage that only she had. Jade was a unique spirit in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family. We ask that you remember her for the way she lived her life with perseverance, strength, courage, determination, love of others and nature.

Jade is survived by her loving parents, Jacqueline R. and Christopher M. Criche, her brother Seth G. Amrhine (wife Felicia N. Amrhine), her brother Caleb D. Amrhine (wife Rebecca Amrhine), step-brother Christopher R. Criche, and step-sister Miranda A. Criche, and adoring dog, Stormy. She was the cherished granddaughter of Sharon H. and J. Michael Ruffino. Jade also leaves behind her adoring Aunt Stephanie M. and Uncle Steven C. Sodd, and her nieces Alaina J. Amrhine, Corra D. Amrhine, Sloane G. Amrhine, step-nieces Harlow R. Criche, Willow M. Jones, Ava R. Schmieder, Sophia J. Criche, step-nephew Hayden N. Horton, as well as many beloved extended family and friends that loved and adored her. Jade is proceeded in death by her grandparents Clementina S. and Frances "Doc" Lezon, great grandparents, Lillie B. and Harry Korsover, and Jennie T. and John Ruffino.

A private memorial and celebration of life will take place at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations in Jade's name can be made to a charity of choice.
