Jacqueline "Jackie" Faye Coscia (nee Sanders) passed away Wednesday August 5th in Palm Coast, FL after a long and courageous battle with COPD. Born in Huntsville, AL in 1942, she graduated from Huntsville High School, where she later met and married the love of her life, Carlo Coscia in 1962. The family relocated to Littleton, CO in 1966 and then to Parsippany, NJ in 1973 before she and Carlo retired to Palm Coast, FL in 1999. After raising her three children, Jackie returned to the work force for 20 years as an Administrative Assistant holding temporary positions with several companies before undertaking full time employment with Family Services of Morris County NJ, retiring due to disability in 1998. Jackie enjoyed arts and crafts and created many family treasures. She enjoyed playing Bridge and was a long time member of several groups including the Friday night group that meets at Mother Seton RC Church. Jackie was pre-deceased by her parents James and Anita Sanders, sisters Jean Rowell (James) and Charlotte Dupuis (Tom) and brother Jim (Rosemarie). Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Carlo, daughter Theresa (Susan), sons Dean (Margy) and Chuck, grandchildren Chris, Michael, Katie, Bridget, Matthew and Amy, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday August 8th at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast from 11 to 2PM. A 2nd gathering will be Thursday August 13th at Laughlin Funeral Home Huntsville, AL from 4 to 6PM. Mass will be Friday August 14th beginning at 12 noon at Holy Spirit RC Church followed by interment at Maple Hill Cemetery Huntsville, AL.
