Obituary

Celebrating the life of Jacque "Grammy" Evans.
Jackie was born on December 31, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana. She grew up with her sister Joann, brother Dave and loving parents Jack and Vern Dill.
Jackie met the love of her life, Charles Randal Evans in high school and later got married on January 20, 1956. They had two children, Rob Evans and Lisa Evans White.  In the 1970's they packed up and moved from Muncie, Indiana to Port Orange, Florida. Jackie opened a beauty shop in New Smyrna Beach, where she was a beautician for over 15 years. Later she opened a quilt and yarn shop in Daytona Beach, where she enjoyed her favorite hobbies of quilting, cross stitch, crotchet, and anything to do with yarn and fabric. Many of her other hobbies were collecting seashells, sunbathing, and enjoying her family and friends.
Jackie is survived by her sister Joann, son Rob and daughter Lisa, Son-in-law Steve, and daughter-in-law Sue. Jackie also has seven grandchildren who proudly loved her as Gram or Grandma: Doug, Brandy, Casey, Megan, Michael, Matt and Shatawna. She is also blessed with 10 great grandchildren and will forever be known as "Grammy". She loved and cherished her great grandchildren: Tatum, Drew, Gunnar, Brylee, Tavyn, Cadence, Tailyn, Quynn, Marlin, and Coral.
Grammy enjoyed spending her later years with her kids and grandchildren. She loved to travel anywhere the world would take her, a good glass of wine and great company. She was never not dressed to the nines and ready for any occasion. She was and will always be remembered as happy, sweet and kind to all.
