Jack Britton Tidmore 81 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on August 2 2012. A visitation will be held on August 6 2012 at 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm. Services will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast.Jack was born and raised in Texas and is a graduate of Paducah High School. After graduation Jack entered the United States Air Force. Before being deployed he married his soul mate Flakadene Moore. Upon discharge as Airman First Class Jack returned to Texas where he owned and operated Tidmore and Son Body Shop in Paducah. After retiring in 1995 he and Flakadene moved to Houston to be near family. In 2002 they relocated to Virginia then to Palm Coast in 2005. Jack however remained a proud Texan and kept his cowboy hat and boots close at hand. He was a voracious reader and had a life long love of the Bible. He was a member of the Holly Hill Church of Christ and a serious student of the scriptures. Jack also enjoyed art music and horses but his passion in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife Flakadene of Palm Coast son Jackie Tidmore Jr. and his wife Verna of West Virginia daughters Judi Jordan of Texas Jana Davis and her husband Chip of Palm Coast brother BobbyJoe Tidmore and his wife Doris of Texas. Jack was also a loving grandfather to his grandchildren Ashley Jordan and her Fiancee Felipe Sara Ridenour and her husband Doug Jacob Beeman Justin Davis and his wife Aubrey Jay Tidmore Ryan Davis and his wife Danielle Jordan Davis Michaela Angenend Joshua Angenend and his Fiancee Shana and her two children Olivia and Christian. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Britton and Mildred and sister Carolyn Sue Tidmore. Donations in Jack's name may be made to the Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School.
