"Jack" Jackie Glenn Madron, 78, of Port Orange, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025.  He was born on November 15, 1946 in Mountain City, Tennessee.  Jack served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He served in the 101st Army Airborne and 82nd Army Airborne and was a member of the "Screaming Eagles," a paratrooper group in Vietnam.  After military life, Jack was a home builder in Cecil County (Rising Sun/Colora), Maryland for decades.  Then he combined his respect for machinery with his love of travel and began working with Amtrack.  He always enjoyed vacationing to Florida over the years, so when it came time to retirement, Jack knew where he wanted to be!  With the beaches, NASCAR, and family surrounding him, he knew he was blessed!  Jack was kind, loving, and generous with his time and talents.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Jean Madron; daughter, Monica Marie Madron (husband, Mark Thaddeus Pare); son, Michael DeWayne Madron (wife, Alicia Madron); son, Aaron Marcus; sister, Patricia Marie Shires; grandson, Connor McDonnell; grandson, Bryce McDonnell; grandson, Mitchell Marcus; and granddaughter, Madison Marcus; beloved dogs, Winston and Toby; and other extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Johnsie Belle Madron; sister, Linda Harrington; and twin sister, Judy Holbrook.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 10:30am at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange located at 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127.  Services will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home.  Honors will be presented, and interment will take place at 1:30pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery located at 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, Florida 32754.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jack's name.
