Jack O. Boswell 71 of Ormond Beach died peacefully Friday evening March 7 2008 surrounded by the love of his family. His family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Friday March 14 2008 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. Jack was born September 30 1936 in Cape Girardot Missouri. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and an MBA from Murray State University. He served in the US Air force reserve and started his career in Education as a Teacher Principal and Superintendent finally retiring after 30 years in the Text Book Industry. He also co-owned and operated Boswell Realty in Ormond Beach for many years. He was a competitive athlete winning the State Basketball Championship in High School and placing number one in the Men's Over 55 Doubles Tennis in the State of Florida. Jack retired at the age of 55 to enjoy golf tennis traveling and being with his family. He was proud to become an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by a son David Boswell Ormond Beach 2 daughters Jacquelyn Hightower Winter Park FL Amy Marie Boswell Ormond Beach a brother William Boswell Cahokia IL. 2 grandchildren David Andrew Boswell Ormond Beach Madelyn Joy Hightower Winter Park FL.
