Jack R. Bodne 66 of Daytona Beach passed away at home on Sunday May 20th 2012 after a long period of illness. A memorial gathering will be held at Jack's home on Friday May 25th 2012 152 Oakwood Drive Daytona Beach 32117. The family will receive guests between the hours of 5pm-7pm.

Jack was born on May 29th 1945 in Jacksonville Florida.

He attended high school locally and was in the marching band. After his graduation in 1965 he attended Daytona Beach Community College.

Jack first worked for the family-owned company "Bodne Dry Cleaners."He also was employed with Universal Pest Control Company for many years as an exterminator.

Jack enjoyed traveling especially Europe and spent much of his early years in Highlands North Carolina on summer visits with the family.

He was well known for his home theater and he enjoyed hosting parties for his friends and neighbors.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Irene (Strickland) and Harry J. Bodne.He is survived by his cousins Patricia W. Smoothwater Ben T. Waddill and John B. Waddill all of Tallahassee.

The family would like to thank Matthew Bonazzoli and Wayne Yutzy for their care giving and continuing friendship.
