Isis Girgis, 83, of Daytona Beach, Florida, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Isis was born in Cairo, Egypt on September 24, 1937 to the late Pastor Fahim Girgis, and his wife Naema Saad.

Isis worked at the United States Agency for International Development in Cairo for most of her career before moving to Florida in 2004 to be near her family. She was an active member of Arabic Evangelical Church of Daytona Beach.

Isis was preceded in death by her husband, Rasem Tadros. She is survived by her son, Nadi Tadros and wife Laura Wissa-Tadros, her 3 grandchildren, Samuel, Leila, and Gabriella, and her siblings Dr. Maurice Girgis and wife Samia, Dr. Wagid Guirgis and wife Suzan, sister Venis and husband Dr. Magdy Nashed , her late sister Lois and husband Dr. Wadie Kamel, and all their families.

Isis had a deep love for the Lord and for her family. She was a loving dedicated mother, doting grandmother, endearing sister, aunt and great aunt, and a friend to many. Her memory, sweet smile, and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.

A small funeral service will be held Saturday November 14 at Lohman Funeral Home in Daytona at 11 am.
