A Funeral Service will be held for Isabelle E. Bethea age 89 of Daytona Beach on Friday August 18 2006 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM before the service and burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Park at Noon. Belle passed away at the Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Port Orange on Wednesday August 16 2006. She was born in Palatka Fl on June 23 1917 to Frank and Laura Wilkinson Cameron. On December 24 1934 she married James Bethea and was happily married to him for 71 years until his passing earlier this past April. She was a loving wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed their presence. She loved to cook and enjoyed her garden and plants. Belle is survived by her son; David C. Frances Bethea of McGregor Texas and her daughter; Sandra McKinnon of Daytona Beach FL. Four grandchildren; David Bethea Jr. Renee with their 4 children; Kris Kent Casey and Tyler of Daytona Beach FL Steven Michelle Bethea and their son Robby of Waco TX. Deborah Tracy Wright and their 4 children; Brian Jake Kimberly and Ray of Ft. Worth Texas and Daniel McKinnon of Daytona Beach FL. Also a sister Virginia Brady of Daytona Beach and 2 brothers-in-law; Hugh T. Arveita Bethea of Winter Park FL and Wilbur C. Marlene Bethea of New Smyrna Beach FL. There are numerous nephews and nieces that will cherish her memory as well. In addition to her late husband James Bethea she was pre-deceased by 2 brothers; George and Fred Cameron and a sister Emily Camp.
