A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Isabel Cobden Brown will be held on Friday April 11th at 4:30 in the afternoon at St. James Episcopal Church. Mrs. Brown 91 died peacefully at home on April 3rd. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Hayward B. Brown. Born in New York City on October 23 1916 Isabel moved as a young child from Larchmont New York to Daytona Beach. She was educated in Daytona Beach graduating from Seabreeze Private High School. Prior to her marriage in 1935 her summers were spent in Great Barrrington MA with her parents and her sister Hannah Cobden Merrell of Ormond Beach who survives her. Isabel was a loving sister wife mother grandmother and great grandmother with a quick wit a great sense of generosity and a constant nurturing and supportive attitude towards others. Additional survivors include her two sons Dana and Richard her two daughters-in-law Shelly and Anne her six grandchildren John Matthew Amy Wister (Jason) Wendy Gattis (Leroy) Kristy and Collin and her three great grandchildren Alyssa Amaya and Logan.
