Isaac Bernard H. Gottdenker age 89 of Appaloosa Trail died peacefully at home on Monday June 28th. Born in Brooklyn New York Bernie lived most of his life in New Jersey. He owned and operated S.M. Builders and Discount Building Material in Old Bridge New Jersey. He and his wife Florence moved to Ormond Beach in October of 1998 from Boca Raton Florida where they had lived since leaving New Jersey in 1983. He was a Navy veteran of WWII having served in both the European and Pacific theaters of operation. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Florence his brother Jack Gottdenker NJ and his children Kathy Blannett and her husband Bob of Ormond Beach Dr. Paul David and his wife Sori of Belmar NJ and Laura and Dr. David Papish of Clearwater KS. Pop-Pop is also survived by his grandchildren Cara Blannett Pope and Joshua of Port Orange FL Joshua Gottdenker Sweden Shayne G. Mishoe and Nick Amsterdam Netherlands Mitchell Papish Lawrence KS Chelsea Papish Clearwater KS and his great grandson Collin L. Pope Port Orange FL.

A memorial service will be held at Ormond Funeral Home on Friday July 2nd at 4:00 PM.
