Mrs. Irene Vreen was called home by the Lord on December 15 ^th , 2018. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church for over forty years. She served in the Usher Ministry, under various pastors. Mrs. Vreen was born in Monticello, Florida to Mr. Isaac Parish and Mrs. Mary E. Holt. From this union including Irene were ten children, she being the youngest. All her siblings preceded her in death.

Irene met and married Nathaniel Vreen in West Palm Beach, Florida, on March 11, 1949 at the age of 18. From the marriage came 8 children- Nathaniel Jr, Namon, Eugene, Curtis (deceased), Wilbert, Johnny, Mary (deceased), and Louise the youngest. They lived in Fort Pierce, then Fort McCoy, Florida. Nathaniel Sr. preceded her in death (1977). She leaves for her legacy, 6 Children, 10 grandchildren, a number of great-grands and great, great-grands. She loved them all. Having loved the Lord she stayed in his word, with the 41 ^st Psalm being her favorite scripture. Her favorite gospel singer was Shirley Caesar. We believe that she is absent from the body, but present with the Lord.

Viewing of the body will be from 9:00am to the time of the service on December 29 ^th , 2018 at 11:00am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Lenorris Dixon presiding. The Repast will be at the Church fellowship hall following the service.
