Irene A. Searby 90 a long-time resident of Daytona Beach passed away August 16 2009. She was born to John and Mary Ann Keegan on March 28 1919 in Brooklyn NY. She was a stay-at-home Mom who spent most of her time raising her four children. Irene and her loving husband Edward to whom she was married nearly 66 years were members of Prince of Peace Church. Prior to a long illness she enjoyed traveling with her husband to North Carolina and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included crocheting reading and playing Bingo. Her family will remember her most as being a quiet caring woman and in her later years she developed a great sense of humor and love of music. She was a loving Wife Mother Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and will be truly missed. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Edward; Son Robert Searby of Holly Hill Florida; Daughters Arlene (Fred) North of Ormond Beach Florida Joanne (John) Wrieden of Arizona Lori Tuttle of Venice Florida; Grandchildren Jakob Jenohn Ian Sean Jenna Erin and Corey and four Great-Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by five brothers and three sisters. Services will be private.
