Irene Coulter 90 passed away April 24 2009. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday April 28th from 1-2 pm with a service to follow at 2 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel.
Irene was born June 26 1918 in Cool Spring PA to Harry and Selah Hetrick. She moved to Florida in 1952 from Aliquippa PA and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She will be remembered as a "darling" wife to her husband of 65 years David Coulter. Irene was also active in crocheting especially afghans and doilies winning a blue ribbon at the Volusia County Fair. She was also an active member of the Atlantic Coast Church.
In addition to her devoted husband David Irene is survived by her daughters: Janet (George) Michell of Covington LA; and Patty (Michael) Morrow of Orlando FL. Also surviving are grandchildren: Tabitha Sullivan Russell Holland Kimberly Walters and Steven Michell. Three great-granchildren also survive: Jacqueline Grzandziel and Megan and Taylor Michell. Two sisters Lillian Piraino and June Bryant and one brother William Hetrick preceded Irene in death.
