Ilse H. Goldschmidt 94 passed away Thursday July 20 at Florida Hospital Ormond after a short illness. Born in Germany she emigrated to this country in 1940. She moved to this area in 1950 from New York City. Ilse and her late husband Peter were the former owners of the Center Gift Shop on Main Street for 25 years. She was a former member of Temple Israel in Daytona. Ilse and her late husband Peter were married 65 years when he passed away in 2000. She is survived by her son Thomas of Denver and a sister Charlotte Werner of Daytona. Service and interment will be held privately.
