Ilene Rotstein 69 of Ormond Beach passed away July 2 2008 surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday July 6 2008 at 11:00 am at Congregation B'nai Torah in Ormond Beach. Private burial to follow. Shiva will be held at Temple B'nai Torah beginning Wednesday evening. Ilene was born July 23 1938 in Toledo Ohio to Alex and Bertha Odesky. She held a Master's degree in Education and spent her career as a teacher in Volusia County. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Jack Rotstein MD and her loving children and their families: Jonathan Rotstein and children Jann and Alexis; Michael (Vienna) Rotstein and children Tyler Tarra and Deenah; Deborah (Marc) Rotstein-Tannenbaum and their child Jordan; Daniel (Rhonda) Rotstein and children Hayley and Mikey; and David (Margaret) Rotstein and children Eric and Nathan and Diane Nelson. Ilene is also survived by her aunt Marian Tarschis of Toldeo OH and sisters-in-law: Nancy (Morris) Einstoss Sharron (Harry) Lewis and Penny Pellow. Also surviving are cousins Normie (Harold) Gross Sam and Beverly Steinman and Stan and Shelia Odesky. The family also extends their gratitude to IMC Halifax Hospital nurses and staff and Dr. Suresh Desai Dr. Allan Goldsmith Dr. Wahba Wahba Dr. Vinod Patel Dr. Scott Kliose Dr. Steven Miles Dr. Robert Levy and Dr. Turetsky.
