Howard Robinson Sr. age 91 of Ormond Beach passed away December 14 2008 at the Hospice Care Center of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange. A Funeral Service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday December 18 2008 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with the Reverend Gary Powell officiating. The Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. A Committal Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday December 19 2008 at Lohman Daytona Memorial Park. He was a resident of Volusia County for 70 years after moving to the area from Ohio. While a resident of Florida Howard joined the Civilian Conservation Corp during World War II. Howard worked for Dandee Bread Bakery for over 30 years as a Production Manager. Mr Robinson also owned & operated the Marshall Motel in Holly Hill. Howard also had his Real Estate License for a number of years where he enjoyed buying & selling real estate in his spare time. He also enjoyed fishing hunting baseball football spending time with his family & taking care of his dog "Tiny". He is survived by his son Howard Robinson Jr. and his grandson Bryce Robinson both of Ormond Beach. Howard is preceded in death by his first wife Naomi Robinson in 1971 & his second wife Annie Robinson.
