Howard T. Norman, 92, of Daytona Beach died on Saturday, October 28 at Halifax Hospital with family and friends by his side. Howard was born in Miami to Alton and Ethel (Shivers) Norman. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman first class and following his service began a long career as a carpenter and architect. When not working, Howard enjoyed many leisure activities, especially fishing and bowling, but his greatest joy was received from spending time with his wife, Jane, and his loving family. Howard will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, but leaves behind many to keep his memory alive. He will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Jane, his sons, David and Keith, daughters Barbara, Shirley, Janet, Diane and Norma, his many extraordinary grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren and his three siblings, sister, Alberta, and his brothers, James and Harvey. A Funeral Service for Howard will be held on Saturday, November 4th at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona beginning at 1pm preceded by a visitation for friends and relatives starting at noon.
