Howard Alt 87 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away April 23 2009.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday April 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service will be held Monday April 27th at 11 am in the Lohman Daytona Chapel with entombment to follow.
Howard was born June 2 1921 to George and Louise Alt in Brooklyn NY. He spent his career in the telecommunications industry as a supervisor and moved to Florida in 1987 from Hauppauge NY. Howard will be remembered for his good natured sense of humor ballroom dancing love for golf and worldwide travel and being a terrific husband father and grandfather who loved to play with his children and grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Christine and one grandson Robert Maas. Surviving are his children: Donna Maas of Ponce Inlet; Peggy J. Alt of Wantagh NY; and Jerry (Janet) Alt of Ridge NY; His grandchildren also survive: Edward Alt Michael Amodio Jeffrey Alt Loren Lagomarsino and Alicia Durst. Eight great-grandchildren also survive.
